The Phantom Gourmet Gift Card is a pre-paid gift card that is redeemable at select restaurants that are members of the Phantom Gourmet Gift Card network. In effect, funds have been loaded on it for the Card Holders use and can be used up to the amount of funds loaded on the card at any Phantom Gourmet Gift Card participating restaurant.

The amount of funds loaded on the Card, and what remains available at any given time to be used by the Card Holder is referred to as "Available Funds". To use the Card at a participating restaurant, simply present the Card at the time of payment. As the Card Holder uses the Card, the available funds will be reduced by the full amount of each restaurant purchase. The Card may be used to pay the full amount of the meal and tax, excluding gratuity, so long as the Card's balance is sufficient. Gratuity must be paid for with some other form of acceptable payment. The Card can also be used to pay a portion of the total meal and the remaining balance with another form of payment accepted by the restaurant.

  3. What do I get when I purchase the Phantom Gourmet Gift Card?
    You (or your recipient) receive a Phantom Gourmet Gift Card that has been loaded with the dollar amount that you choose. The Card comes in a Gift card holder that explains how to use the Card and a list of participating restaurants.

  5. How long does it take to receive the Phantom Gourmet Gift Card?
    Once all information has been received, the order will be processed within one business day. You will receive your card within 1-3 business days.

    As an online service, we accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.

    Yes, the gift is perfect for everyone.

  9. Does the card expire?
    Yes. The card expires 7 years after the card has been issued. All Cards purchased for the Holiday Season will have an expiration date 7 years from 12/24, not the date of purchase.

  10. What if the purchase is less than the balance on the card?
    The remaining funds will remain on the card and be applied towards its next use.

  11. What if the purchase is more than the balance on the card?
    If the purchase is more than the existing balance on the Card, pay the cashier by cash or other charge card for the amount that your purchase exceeds your Cards remaining balance. The server will run your Card through for its remaining balance as a regular charge. Authorization will only be given for the amount available on the card.

  12. Can I check the balance on my Card?
    Yes, there is a number on the back of the card. An automated system will then walk you through the process.

  13. What happens if the card is lost or stolen?
    The card is like cash and should be treated the same.

  14. Can the card be reloaded with funds?
    No, the Phantom Gourmet Gift Card is a disposable card. Once the balance hits Zero the card can be discarded. You can purchase an additional Card by clicking here.

  15. Is there a service/activation fee?
    No. There are no fees associated with the purchase, use, or life of this card.

  16. Are the participating restaurants reviewed by the Phantom Gourmet?
    Restaurants that accept the Phantom Gourmet Gift Card are not necessarily approved by the Mysterious Critic.
